Kate Anastario
Kate Anastario joined the team as the Director in July of 1999 with a M.Ed. from Boston University. All of her coursework and research focused on K-12 classrooms. Before joining TTS, she developed and taught courses at Boston University and The Sawyer School. With over 11 years experience in education, Kate's background encompasses educational theory & methods, years of research on technology in the classroom, curriculum integration, administrator practices, curriculum development and a specialty in Data Driven Decision Making. Before pursuing a career in education, she spent over 5 years developing and analyzing efficiency tools and training management on job integration in the corporate arena.
As a long term member of TTS, it's been a pleasure to work with energetic administrators to plan and implement quality teacher training. Student learning and achievement is the ultimate goal of every TTS program. Every school year, Kate is the instructor for a few TTS projects as well. It is Kate's hope that schools will continue to value on-going teacher training and support. |
